Universitatea de Ştiinţe Agricole şi Medicină Veterinară Cluj-Napoca

The University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Cluj-Napoca is the continuator of the prestigious Higher Agriculture School of Cluj, founded almost 140 years ago, in October 1869, under the name of Institute of Agronomic Education Cluj-Mănăştur. In 1906, the Institute was elected to the Academy, named after the Academy of Agriculture Cluj.

Universitatea Tehnică din Cluj Napoca

The structure of the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca is complex and comprises thirteen faculties distributed in the two university centers, Cluj-Napoca and Baia Mare, plus the extensions in the localities of Alba-Iulia, Bistrita, Satu-Mare and Zalau. Colegiul Tehnic de Industrie Alimentară “RALUCA RIPAN”

TECHNICAL COLLEGE OF FOOD INDUSTRY "RALUCA RIPAN" known many after the old name, L.I.A. (High School of Food Industry) was and is the only school with a food industry profile in the county. At the beginning, in 1948, it was called the Food Technology School for the Dairy Product Industry. Institutul de Cercetari pentru Instrumentatie Analitica, ICIA

NCDO-INOE 2000, Research Institute for Analytical Instrumentation, ICIA has as main activity the research, design and development of analytical laboratory equipment and the development of analytical methodologies for a wide range of samples. Staţiunea de Cercetare-Dezvoltare Agricolă Turda

The activity of the unit is realized in: agricultural research and production

  • the main research activity is the creation and multiplication of plant varieties and hybrids (autumn wheat, spring, autumn barley, spring, corn, soybean); development of crop technologies; genetic stockholding of the sheep breed (ruby tiger) and swine (Mangaliţa, Bazna)
  • it is organized on 4 research laboratories:
  1. Improvement of stubble cereals from autumn and spring;
  2. Corn amelioration and zoo-technical research;
  3. Soybean amelioration;
  4. Plant Protection and Technologies.
Staţiunea Didactică şi Experimentală USAMV Cluj-Napoca

The Didactic and Experimental Center of the USAMV Cluj-Napoca is established by the Senate Decision of 24.11.2011 with respect to the legislation in the field. The Didactic and Experimental Center of the USAMV Cluj-Napoca is an economic and research unit without legal personality which operates according to the provisions of Law no.1 / 2011 (art.134), the university charter and the legislation in force. The organizational structure of SDEUSAMV Cluj-Napoca aims at realizing the mission assumed by the university, focusing mainly on advanced scientific research, the application of innovative technologies and methods in the field of vegetal production, animal and animal health, obtaining and disseminating vegetal biological material and animal, specialized consultancy, practical training of students. The station is structured on functional subunits that have their own administrative management and are subordinated to the General Manager.

Stațiunea de Cercetare-Dezvoltare pentru Pomicultură Cluj

Cluj-Napoca Research & Development Station was founded in 1953 by Teodor Bordeianu important contribution. The first director of the resort was the famous autodidact biologist Rudolf Polocsay . With him he collaborated at the beginning of his career and the famous horticulturist, Professor Ştefan Oprea . Over the years, at the Cluj resort, over 27 varieties have been approved and introduced into the national fruit heritage, the scientific value of which has been confirmed by horticulturists. The current director of the Pomichel Research Station is Dr. Eugenia HĂRŞAN. It has its headquarters at Str. Horticultorilor nr. 5, Cluj-Napoca, Cluj County, code 400457 and occupies an area of 171.74 ha.
