CLUJ COUNTY COUNCIL
Cluj County is located in north-western half of the country, being in a contact area with three representative natural units: The Apuseni Mountains, The Somes Plateau and The Transylvanian Plain. In terms of share of national land area owned, Cluj County ranks 12 in the country with 2.8%. It is bordered to the north-east Bistrita-Nasaud and Maramures Counties, Mures County to the east, to the south with Alba and to the west with Bihor and Salaj Counties.
CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY
Cluj Chamber of Commerce and Industry is the oldest organization of its kind on the territory of Romania. In 2000, CCCI celebrated 150 years of existence and 10 years from the resuming activity. By resuming its activity within the chamber system and market economy, CCCI supported the business community at every critical stage of its development, the entire period of 20 years completed.
MUNICIPALITY OF CAMPIA TURZII
Câmpia Turzii is a city in Cluj County, Romania, which was formed in 1925 by the union of two villages, Ghiriş and Sâncrai. It was declared a town in 1950 and a city in 1998. The city is home to the Romanian Air Force’s RoAF 71st Air Base, and during the NATO Summit of 2008, the 323rd Air Expeditionary Wing of the United States Air Force.
