Objective:

General:

  • The general objective of this project is to develop and market traditional dairy products by promoting the concept of a local market exclusively through a short supply chain, over a period of 15 months from the signing of the funding contract.

Specific:

  • Cooperation between the three partners in the cooperation agreement to implement the concept of a local market exclusively through a short supply chain, over a period of 15 months from the signing of the funding contract;
  • Online and offline (onsite) promotion of Transylvanian dairy products obtained through the partnership, in the short supply chain, over a period of 15 months;
  • Strengthening the local market and consequently the competitive position of the partnership by equipping with 2 technological equipment for dairy processing and 10 showcases for promoting and marketing Transylvanian dairy products, within 9 months.

Partners:

For the implementation of this project, a partnership consisting of 3 members was formed:

  1. An entity as a processor and trader (Ferma cu Omenie SRL);
  2. A farmer supplying the necessary raw materials (Unilact Transilvania SRL);
  3. A non-governmental organization (Asociația Clusterul Agro-Food-Ind Napoca).

Activities:

  • The project proposes the establishment and development of a local market exclusively through the short supply chain in Alba County, Unirea Commune for local products;
  • Conducting promotional activities for the concept of the short supply chain and the local market, as well as a component of developing the processing facility for products resulting from the short supply chain by purchasing specific milk processing equipment;
  • Creating/developing a short supply chain/local markets (with food products) will be achieved by selling products obtained within the store at the factory gate of Ferma cu Omenie SRL;
  • Creating a new distinct web page on the partner’s website, Ferma cu Omenie, dedicated to promoting partners from the short chain, presenting the local market, and marketing the category of products related to the project’s short chain.
